Tender Yorkshire lamb in a Greek style gyros marinade of herbs and spices.
Cooking: Best browned on all sides in a frying pan, then transferred to a covered casserole dish and cooked slowly at a medium heat for up to 3 hours. Add a stock or red wine (pint per kg) and seasonal root vegetables. Serve when meat easily separates from the bone.
